ماذا لو التقت رواية «المحاكمة» لفرانز كافكا بالفيلم الامريكي «فندق بودابست الكبير» للمخرج الامريكي ويس انديرسون ؟ 

لكن هذه المرة، في مقهى فاخر بالمغرب سنة 1956.

هذه هي حكاية «موعد في الريتز»، فيلم قصير مدته 25 دقيقة، من كتابة وإخراج محمد نزار البوزياني، وإنجاز فريق من طلبة وصناع الأفلام الشباب من المدرسة العليا للفنون البصرية بمراكش (ESAV Marrakech).

الحكاية

شفيق، موظف مغربي شاب في المكتب الوطني للسكك الحديدية، يحصل على مكافأة مالية كبيرة من عمله.
سيقرر استعادة زوجته السابقة ليلى، يدعوها إلى عشاء رومانسي في «الريتز»، مقهاه المفضل.

لكن عند وصولهما إلى الطاولة التي قام بحجزها، يجدان فوقها مسدسًا وقبعة لشرطي استعماري فرنسي.
الطاولة تعود إلى جنرال فرنسي مخمور، ترك اغراضه عليها ليحجزها في انتظار انتهاء جولته بالمدينة.

المشكلة:

لا أحد يجرؤ على لمسها.

ومن هنا تبدأ ليلة عبثية من الإذلال، والخوف، والنفاق، والتمرد اليائس، تنتهي بمواجهة عنيفة مع المستعمر.

«موعد في الريتز» هو فيلم عن رجل يحاول بكل ما لديه أن يصبح فرنسيًا، إلى درجة أنه ينسى من يكون. ثم يدفع الثمن.

مرآة لنا جميعًا

هذا الفيلم ليس مجرد قصة عن الاستعمار.

إنه فيلم عن التواطؤ غير المقصود.

عن الخوف.

عن النفاق.

وعن الثمن الذي ندفعه عندما نساعد الشر على الاستمرار، ولو كان ذلك فقط من خلال صمتنا.

لكنني لا أريد أن أحكي هذه القصة من خلال الألم وحده.

أريد أن نحكيها من خلال الكوميديا.

فالعبث، بالنسبة لي، هو أحيانًا الطريقة الأكثر صدقًا لمواجهة الواقع.

نضحك على الموقف.

نضحك على الفوضى.

نضحك على الشخصيات.

قصة مغربية، بأعين مغربية

«موعد في الريتز» فيلم مغربي، من صنع مغاربة، ويحكي عن مغاربة.

نحن نؤمن بأن المغاربة يستحقون أن يروا تاريخهم المعقد من خلال أعينهم هم.

أن نتحدث عن الاستعمار دون أن نكون مجرد شخصيات ثانوية في قصة يرويها الآخرون.

ليس لأننا نريد إعادة فتح جراح الماضي، بل لأننا نؤمن بأن مواجهة الماضي هي إحدى طرق فهم الحاضر.

«موعد في الريتز» هو محاولتنا لمنح جزء من هذا التاريخ حياة جديدة من خلال الكوميديا السوداء والعبث.

حتى نضحك.

ثم نفكر.

ثم نمضي قدمًا.

لقد عملنا معًا في مشاريع بعضنا البعض، وتعلمنا كيف نواجه تحديات صناعة الأفلام بإمكانيات محدودة، وكيف نحول الأفكار الطموحة إلى أعمال حقيقية.

نحن لا نملك استوديو ضخمًا.

ولا ميزانية إنتاج كبيرة.

لكننا نملك شيئًا نؤمن بأنه أهم:

في ماذا يفيدنا دعمكم المادي؟

نحتاج إلى جمع 9,000 درهم مغربي لإنجاز الفيلم.

وسيتم توزيع الميزانية على الشكل التالي:

3,000 درهم — الديكور وموقع التصوير
سنقوم ببناء مقهى «الريتز» بأنفسنا على هضبة التصوير التابعة لـ ESAV.

3,000 درهم — الأزياء والإكسسوارات
لإعادة خلق أجواء سنة 1956، مع استخدام بعض العناصر المتعمدة التي تكسر الإطار الزمني وتخدم الطابع العبثي للفيلم.

2,000 درهم — النقل والإطعام
لتوفير الطعام والتنقل لفريق العمل المكون من 14 ممثلًا وتقنيًا خلال فترة التصوير.

700 درهم — رسوم المشاركة في المهرجانات
لإرسال الفيلم إلى مهرجانات الأفلام القصيرة داخل المغرب وخارجه.

300 درهم — رسوم المنصة واحتياطي للطوارئ

أين يذهب تبرعكم بالضبط؟

الممثلون، وفريق العمل، والمعدات، ومرحلة ما بعد الإنتاج، كلها يتم توفيرها مجانًا من طرف فريقنا في ESAV.

لذلك، فإن كل درهم تتبرعون به سيذهب مباشرة إلى ما نحتاجه فعليًا لإنجاز الفيلم على أرض الواقع.

Imagine The Trial by Franz Kafka meets The Grand Budapest Hotel—but set in a luxury café in 1956 Morocco.

Chafik, a young Moroccan ONCF executive, just received a large work bonus. He wants to win back his ex-wife Layla with a romantic dinner at the Ritz, his favorite café.

But when they arrive at their reserved table, they find a gun and a French colonial police hat sitting on it.

The table belongs to a drunken French general who leaves his belongings to "save" his seat while he wanders the city. No one dares to move them.

What follows is a night of absurd humiliation, desperate rebellion, and an explosive confrontation with colonialism, hypocrisy, and the lies we tell ourselves to survive.

Rendez-vous au Ritz is a 25-minute short film by a team of passionate Moroccan filmmakers from ESAV Marrakech. It's a dark comedy about a man who tries so hard to be French that he forgets who he is—and pays the ultimate price.

I wrote this film because I'm tired of the silence.

I'm tired of how we—as everyday people—accept being degraded and humiliated simply because someone is "above" us in hierarchy, social class, or political status. I'm tired of how we sacrifice our dignity because we're afraid of "not following the rules."

This film is personal.

It started in a café in Gueliz, Marrakech, where my father and I were kicked off a table that was empty except for a single cup. A Police man had left it there to "save" his place. No one dared to challenge it. We had to accept it.

That moment of helplessness—and the frustration I feel every time I deal with an administrative system that strips away human decency—is what drove me to write this film.

Rendez-vous au Ritz is my attempt to hold up a mirror.

It's a film about how we become complicit in the systems that oppress us. It's about how we only revolt when our own interests are threatened. It's about how we enable evil in exchange for comfort.

And it's a cautionary tale: eventually, you get eaten alive by the evils you enable.

But this film is not just about pain. It's about laughter, too.

It's an absurdist comedy that invites you to laugh at the chaos—and then, in the silence after the laughter, to say to yourself: "Hey that’s not really fair ! "

This is a film by Moroccans, for Moroccans.

We deserve to tell our own stories. We deserve to see our complicated, painful history through our own eyes—not through orientalist tales filtered through foreign lenses.

Rendez-vous au Ritz is my attempt to give this history an absurd revival. So we can laugh, reflect, and finally move forward.
